Nitty Scott is an MC and writer via New York City. Her breakthrough came in 2010, when the video for her freestyle over Kanye West's "Monster" went viral. She boasts collaborations with Grammy award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar on "Flower Child", as well as work with Action Bronson, Ab Soul, Styles P and more. Nitty performed at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher, followed by features in Billboard Magazine, The New York Times and USA Today. She headlined her own national tour after the release of The Art Of Chill LP in 2014 and continues to perform worldwide. In 2016, she contributed to the score for the film Zoolander 2, became an official SPRITE P.O.U.R. artist and the face of the Miller Lite Kickback Series. She also lends her voice to humanitarian and women's empowerment efforts, performing at the United Nations and guest speaking at universities. Nitty later joined the Salaam Remi-produced collective No Panty with fellow members Joell Ortiz and Bodega Bamz for the well-received release of "Westside Highway Story". With over a million views on her YouTube channel and an enthusiastic following, Nitty's work continues to evolve and expand as a promising lyricist and social justice advocate.
