As the founder of OutdoorFest Sarah Knapp planned and successfully executed the first 10-day outdoor adventure festival in New York City.

In her first year, she secured major corporate sponsorship and created strategic alliances with over 40 organizations ranging from startups to international outdoors brands. Her focus on influencer marketing catapulted the festival into the NYC eye: achieving over 7000 registrations in its inaugural year and earning a nomination for the annual Outdoor Inspiration Awards. Her professional background includes writing for Nielsen Business Media, reporting and researching on trends in international microfinance, and event logistics in the start-up space.
