Radical Strategies in Institutional IT Security

When it comes to security, the university environment can be extremely challenging. Modern research institutions have wide-open networks, 1000+ buildings, hundreds of silos, decentralized IT, and limited technology budgets. In this talk we'll explore how military history and guerrilla tactics can be applied to build a highly secure, uniform, collaborative, and stable environment employing conventional and unconventional strategies and influencing a culture of change from the bottom up.
