Tools in My Designer Tool Belt: A/B Testing
Monday, March 14
11:00AM - 12:00PM

A/B testing is often a four letter word for designers. In this session I'll walk through my journey as a designer navigating art vs. science and how I learned to use the scientific method in pursuit of great design.
I'll discuss how A/B testing can be a designer's best friend rather than their worst enemy. Case studies including Netflix's 2015 website redesign will highlight how designers can leverage A/B testing effectively to inform design, not just validate it.
This is not about testing button colors and page layouts, but using A/B testing at a strategic level to inform design from concept to shipped product in order to deliver the best user experience.
