The Real Wild West Is East: China’s Big 3 Markets
China is no longer simply a place for low cost manufacturing. Chinese VC investment and a new generation of Chinese intellectual capital, enables true hybrid US-Chinese startups. Investments in US startups have recently skyrocketed, with the total Chinese investment surging from $1B in 2012 to over $4.3B in 2015. Startups which expect to compete globally must develop a China strategy.
This session will explore what it takes for startups to build a team in China, and how to access the Chinese investor, manufacturing and customer markets. Hear speakers from the US and China, with experience in building hybrid US-Chinese startups, doing business as a startup in China, and VC investment.
