Clara is a partner and founding member at Revolution Ventures, where she focuses on identifying, investing in, and helping to build innovative and impactful early-stage companies. She began working with Revolution in 2010 and joined full-time as a member of the investment team in 2012, when she helped open Revolution's San Francisco office. Clara serves on the board at Busbud, Framebridge, and PolicyGenius. She helped lead fundraising efforts for both Revolution Growth’s and Revolution Ventures' first institutional funds, closing on $450M and $200M, respectively. Clara was featured on Forbes' 30 Under 30 for Venture Capital and named one of Levo League’s 100 millennials redefining the world.

Prior to joining Revolution Ventures, Clara managed alternative investment fund opportunities and associated secondary activities at Probitas Partners. While at Probitas, Clara advised numerous private equity and venture capital groups on fund formation activities, including Revolution Growth. Clara was previously at UBS Investment Bank in the Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance group, where she focused on technology and media companies.

Clara received her B.A. in Economics with a minor in German from Stanford University. Clara was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Julie is a Senior Associate at Madrona Venture Group. Julie joined Madrona in 2011 and is a board observer for portfolio companies AdReady, Jintronix, Maxpoint, OnMobile Media, Jobaline, SNUPI Technologies, and Rover.com. At Madrona, Julie is pursuing new investment opportunities, and is actively involved in Madrona’s portfolio companies and the firm’s activity in the startup community. She recently launched the Seattle Entrepreneurial Women’s Network (SEWN), a forum for women entrepreneurs, startuppers, and aspiring entrepreneurs to connect here in the Greater Seattle area. Prior to joining Madrona, Julie was a senior product manager at Amazon on the Kindle team, where she managed online marketing and traffic for Kindle’s eBook business. She also led the definition, design, and technical implementation of new Kindle Content products. Earlier in her career, Julie worked at Accenture in product management within Microsoft’s SMSG Solutions Delivery group. At Microsoft, she launched the worldwide Disaster Response initiative for Microsoft Volume Licensing and led the international rollout of order-to-invoice operations for Microsoft Mediaroom (formerly IPTV). Julie worked in product management and business development at TeachStreet, a Madrona portfolio company acquired by Amazon in February 2012. Julie serves on the board of directors of the Northwest Entrepreneur Network and on the board of trustees of the Seattle Repertory Theatre. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with honors, with distinction, and with both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also received an MBA with honors from Harvard Business School.
