Big data is not just for the majors any more. Independent artists are utilizing fan metrics, streaming habits, and geography data to maximize income as well as to identify and reach new fans. This panel will explore tools and methods to chart a course for artists' careers at any level, using data to understand where fans are and what motivates them. Expert panelists will share tips on how data can be garnered and leveraged by artists and managers and how metrics from Spotify, Apple, Amazon, and Deezer can be aggregated.
