Holiday Mountain
Listen to Bump That Bass
Coming from the "Keep-It-Weird" capital of Austin, Texas, electronic duo Holiday Mountain pushes a genre-expanding sound, fusing together their affinity for EDM, hip-hop, and pop to create a force so strong, even NPR concedes that "resistance is futile." "After witnessing their atomic live set, you'll be rendered breathless," says SPIN magazine, who also named front woman Laura Patiño and drummer Zander Kagle, one of their favorite things from SXSW 2015. "Make sure to watch to the end" urges The Wall Street Journal, as audience members are regularly exposed to glittery crowd surfing, sweaty drum solos, and being fed cake until they reach "a cacophonous climax." This is just the beginning for Holiday Mountain as they prepare to open for Public Enemy and A-Trak, release their full-length album "Shia Labeouf," and continue a rigorous touring schedule with a "David Bowie-esque level of pageantry." (Austin Monthly)
