Born and raised on the island of St. Thomas, Pressure Busspipe is one of the leading voices of Virgin Islands reggae. Since coming to worldwide attention with his hit 2007 single “Love And Affection,” he has worked with a who’s who of reggae producers and artists including Walshy Fire (Major Lazer), Damian Marley and Tarrus Riley. In 2014, his song “Virgin Islands Nice” was tapped as the theme for the U.S. Virgin Islands Tourism Department’s global marketing campaign. That same year, he released The Sound and Africa Redemption, his most critically acclaimed albums to date. Pressure is the creator of the Virgin Islands Peace Concert, which attracts thousands of fans annually on the island of St. Thomas.
