San Francisco-based producer Al Lover has spent the last several years evolving a unique approach to electronic and psychedelic music by way of exploring the common threads within it’s various genres. From the 2011 Garage tinged project Distorted Reverberations - where he remixed bands such as Thee Oh Sees and Night Beats - to his more recent exploration of Synthesized Kraut, Ambient and Dub, Zodiak Versions, Al continues to explore the fringes of Psychedelic music and draw parallels where others might get lost.

Often compared to acts like Sun Araw and Gaslamp Killer, Al draws from the past and connects it to the future with the use of samples, drum machines, live instrumentation, analog synthesizers, effects and Ableton Live. Lover has been busy the last 3 years releasing 5 LPs, collaborating with artists such as Goat, Anton Newcombe, White Fence and Lumerians all while touring Europe extensively and working with Levitation Austin as their official DJ.
