The Rotten Mangos primarily consist of Ramiro Verdooren and Cristian Sigler who, after starting the band in Mcallen, Texas, moved to Austin in hopes of reaching a wider audience and in hopes of expanding the band. Since their arrival, two of the best musicians in Austin (Christian Kues and Jim Campo) have joined them in order to bring a wall of sound to any bar or venue that wishes to have them. All their music is recorded and mixed at home by Ramiro on a multitrack recorder, not for novelty but because it works. The Rotten Mangos stand for everything that is real in music and would like to extinguish all that is not. Much love to all
