Redline Graffiti is a DC based quartet that melds a contemporary r&b sensibility with elements of indie rock and dance music. Described as “somewhere between Frank Ocean and Passion Pit” by Blisspop and more concisely as “indie rock newcomers” by the Washington Post, the groups' sound has helped to establish them as a staple of the live music scene in the the Capitol city.
Since its creation in Winter of 2011, Redline has opened for such acts as: Jesse Boykins the 3rd, Dawn Richard, RDGLDGRN, Beauty Pill, Lady Lamb the Beekeeper, and Emily King. They’ve consistently been a local presence on large festivals hosted in Washington such as ‘Trillectro’ in 2014 and ‘Charged Up Music Fest’ last year. In March of 2015, their music made its television debut with the single 'End of the World’ from their debut EP, ‘About and Because’, being featured on BET’s ‘Being Mary Jane’.
