Arturo de la Torre and Arturo Lamadrid, share and combine their music formula under one name: The San Juan Project. This group adds a new way of perceiving and creating music with an eclectic approach. Their musical concept has won over the local showbiz scene of Guadalajara, and is sweeping through the nation. The San Juan Project Quartet originated back in 2008 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Arturo Lamadrid is a programmer, keyboardist and guitar player. His leadership contributes a great deal to the direction of the band. With his great sensibility and ingenuity, he is the main composer of the group. His knowledge of different music genres, from blues to mainstream electronic, have taken him to the position he occupies in the San Juan Project.
On Trumpet:
Arturo de la Torre carries a music bag loaded with experience. Having studied under renowned trumpet players, Brian Lynch, Wynton Marsalis and Adolph Heserth, he´s built a reputation as a skill trumpet player. Having toured the United States, Mexico, and Asia he's had the opportunity to share the stage with some of the great talents from the classical and jazz world. A great improviser, Arturo's performance projects passion and energy, showing a creativity that holds no limits.
