DJ, producer, musician, DJ Tunez musical exposure is credited to his father's expansive collection of music. From an early age, he recognized the captivating effect music has on people and the emotions it evokes. Being raised in the culturally diverse borough of Brooklyn, NY, in a household with African and Caribbean influences, exposed DJ Tunez to a wide catalogue of musical genres such as Afrobeat, Reggae, Soca, HipHop, R&B, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Funk and more. At age 11 he learned to play the drums, which was also around the same time he began mixing music at church events he attended with his father. This led to him djing at other churches and small events on his own, allowing him to build a reputation based on the manifestation of his skill set.
