Jor’Dan Armstrong is a 26 year old native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attends Times of Refreshing World Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Dr. Calvin N. Emery. The 2012 Awards season has brought Armstrong several nominations. He is a multiple 2012 En Sound Music Award Nominee. He is nominated for Best Urban Male Artist, Male Vocalist of the Year, his hit single, “Tropicana,” as Best Urban Song and his cover to Usher’s “Without You” as Best Christian Dance Song. He is also nominated for three 2012 Crunk 4 Christ Awards as Rhythm and Praise Artist of the Year, Album of the Year and “Drive Me Crazy” as Song of the Year.

Armstrong continues to expand his musical prowess by again joining forces with TedyP along with songwriter, Franchise Tief to form the production team “The Good Guys.” Together, they began writing and producing songs for musical acts across the United States, namely Jor’Dan Armstrong’s highly anticipated new album, Stronger, which was released on September 25, 2012. The entire album stands as a narrative of a yearning for a closer relationship with God and a deeper understanding of life and spirituality. Despite the serious and relevant nature of the subjects discussed on the album, Armstrong’s music is still presented in a youthful, soulful and spirited manner. This is evident with the leaked single, “Swag,” which was released in August 2011. The song immediately gained support from program directors, DJ’s and numerous record pools throughout the country. He also released a digital download mixtape entitled, Jesus, Fashion and Beatz on January 24, 2012 to an overwhelming response. The mixtape received over 10,000 downloads in one week.
