Born in Dallas, Texas, listening to his grandmother play the organ in church, George Tisdale experienced his first encounter with the power of music. As a child and inspired by the late and great James Brown and his late uncle, Jazz Bassist, Wayman Tisdale, George started playing drums at the age of 8. George, at an early age fell in love with the musical stylistics of Prince, Ella Fitzgerald, Sly Stone, Sarah Vaughn and the prodigious Miles Davis.
George possesses a multitude of accomplishments. He currently holds a Bachelors of Art in Music and Vocal Performance from North Carolina Central University.

Inspired today by the musical styles of Allen Stone, Alabama Shakes, Robert Glasper, Coldplay and Arctic Monkeys. George is dedicated, focused and determined more than ever. Living in the studio day in and day out George is currently recording his third EP, which is slated to release summer 2016. Collaborating with three time Grammy award winning Engineer/ Producer; Samuel Thomas (G.A.), Producer; Christopher Warrior (C.A.)and his cousin Producer; Keite Young (T.X.) George believes this EP will make his listeners believe in the recovery of lost love and gift them the ability to breathe again. Look out for the album release this summer
