After self-releasing the popular full length ’Fabrication’ in 2010, Ballinger subsequently teamed with Good Horse Records out of Austin to release ‘The State I’m In’ LP in late 2014. Since the release he has completed several national tours, playing riveting, inspired shows with his band and as solo performer. Ballinger has created much buzz in Austin in anticipation of his upcoming release. Working with producer Brian Beattie (Okkervil River, Bill Callahan, Shearwater), Ballinger is creating the truest, most fascinating incarnation of his voice and writing to date.
