Crudo Pimento
Listen to Cruza Diablo
Can you imagine mixing Puerto Rican folklore, a Mayhem album, another from the best time of Mano Negra, some traces of Huelva fandangos (Andalusian flamenco) and some brainless blues? Crudo Pimento is an addicted mixture of tradicional Caribean and Antillan rhythm, Delta Blues and some air of Black Metal! Original instrumentation, manufactured by their own hands, impossible tunings, but at the same time an essence deeply popular and even childish, in every song on the second LP of the unpredictable and surprising duo from Murcia.
The Devil dressed up as a child; a child dressed up as the Devil. That is “Fania Helvete”. In his grooves you can find Jiménez del Oso, UFOs, diabolic possessions, passages written in Enochian or even some lyrics by a one year old child.
