Little Fyodor has been astounding audiences since hatching out of the primordial stew in 1981. He met Babushka while she was pushing a shopping cart with an electronic keyboard sticking out of it in a Denver alley way in 1986. Amadeus Tonguefingers joined on bass in 2004 and Tricky Dick Wikkit on drums in 2010. Together they formed Little Fyodor & Babushka and released a 7 inch vinyl EP last year called "Truly Rejected" in conjunction with Ken Rock, a label based in Sweden. This is Little Fyodor's sixth release of new material, plus a Greatest Hits CD released by Discriminate Audio and a live release recorded at the Church of the Subgenius's X-Day celebration. Little Fyodor & Babushka play raw rock 'n' roll on the quirky and eccentric (okay, WEIRD!) side of kick-ass nerd punk, expressing deep goddamn motherfucking truths about the human condition while emoting the dark and frantic moods with a pure energy. The band is looking forward to our second opp to rock and entertain the alternative minded denizens (weirdos?) of SXSW!!
