Now with two albums under her belt, a run on NBC's The Voice, a big screen debut in the film Catfish, and two tours in France, the singer-songwriter has recently moved back to Austin from NYC and has a new album due out April 2016. Recorded in Austin at Church House with producer David Boyle (Patty Griffin, Robert Plant, Bebel Gilberto), the album (Hello Goodbye) features 11 tracks veering from dreamy folk to funky pop and soul/R&B backed by an all-star band (Charlie Sexton, JJ Johnson, David Garza, Cat Popper, & Brad Houser), all coated with the "honey-husked" voice that inspired Rolling Stone to call her "one of the only singers who had the sort of voice you'd want to listen to for an entire album" (The Voice).
"Think Dusty Springfield... with a little more grit." Mike Levine / The Deli, NYC
"all the vibe in the world" Jessica Hopper / Rolling Stone
“Not just another singer-songwriter, Suzanna Choffel is sexy and smart. Her band's mix of pop, soul, be-bop and adult themes creates a vision that is unique, thoroughly refreshing and worthy of national attention.” Jim Caliguiri / Austin Chronicle
