Edwin Briscoe’s love for music began years ago in Dallas, TX. While in the marching band at David W. Cater High School, he would discover that playing the drums was a passion not just a pastime. While living in the Dallas metroplex he played drums with Grammy award winning artist, musicians and producers.
After high school, Edwin attended Grambling State University. At Grambling he was in the marching, symphonic, concert and jazz ensemble bands. During those years in the band Edwin was a participant in the Super Bowl XXXII Halftime show, presidential performances and numerous NFL and NBA games. He was also featured in commercials for Proctor and Gamble and the Cartoon Network as a drummer. a musician in New York, Edwin has played in notable venues and festivals around the world.
