Vision is an Alternative Rock band from Los Angeles, California led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Christopher Valer and his brother, drummer Phillip Dominick. In 2011, they formed Vision in Santa Fe Springs, California, but instead quickly made a name for themselves in East L.A. neighborhoods, playing an array of backyard parties as a result of their hometowns lackluster music scene. In 2012, Valer and Dominick cut a demo tape (with Valer handling everything except drums) submitting it with the remark 'we don't get enough recognition' to Burger Records, the noted indie label based in Fullerton, California; the staff at Burger were powerfully impressed with the tape, and immediately arranged to release it as an EP, simply titled Vision. With featured tracks such as 'You Should Know' and 'Inneraction' anticipation grew for a follow up to the EP. Finally, in the fall of 2015, Burger Records released Vision's long-awaited debut full-length album 'Inertia'. Although as a live act the band has featured a variety of second guitarists and Benjamin Nastase on bass, the debut cements Valer and Dominick as the driving force behind the group, Valer again handling all duties besides drums and to much praise; Zoe Leverant of the Village Voice hails 'sneering vocals and expansive melodies not heard since another set of brothers — the Gallaghers — ruled the world. No one could have guessed three guys ... were the inheritors of Britpop,' while Art Tavana of LA Weekly raves 'L.A.'s equivalent to England's "working class" is the native without a safety net; the local band with more soul in their war-torn Chucks than an entire band of surfers embracing faux-poverty while collecting vintage tube amps. Thankfully, Fullerton's Burger Records gave one of those gritty local bands a chance to break out.' and LA Record's Daniel Sweetland states 'Inertia is a killer collection of raw rock songs'. Inertia has also won number one(1) in LA Records reader poll 'best of' in the category of 'full-length album'.
