The Brooklyn-based duo Tripletrain, comprised of DBK (Drew Conley) and Mel G (Eddie Sergi), have been an integral part of the NYC Juke/Footwork scene since their inception 4 years ago. Part of the Teklife family, Tripletrain has released four digital EPs via their Bandcamp page and were featured on the Teklife Presents: Nextlife 3LP compilation (Hyperdub). Their most recent digital EP, This is Tripletrain (August 2015) features DJ Manny, Taso, Boylan, and DJ Earl, while their Lights in the City EP (May 2014) features Berlin vocalist, Chiara Noriko.
Tripletrain is featured on the track "That Love" from DJ Taye's recent Break it Down EP (Hyperdub, October 2015.) They also just put out a 7" 45 RPM vinyl release via Baltimore indie label Araca Recs in November.
