Listen to Downtown
Kicked Out of Eden is the second solo release by Javier Escovedo, founding member of The Zeros and the True Believers and a pioneer of the 1970s west coast punk rock scene. Arguably Javier is the greatest contributor to rock and roll of the storied Escovedo family that includes older brothers Pete and Coke Escovedo (Santana, Malo, Azteca), niece Sheila E. and brother Alejandro. The new album is pure pop Rock and Roll that remains true to Javier's love of 60s Garage and 70s Glam and Punk sounds. The album was recorded in 2015 and features Brad Rice on guitar (Backsliders, Keith Urban), Hector Munoz on Drums (Alejandro Escovedo and the Sensitive Boys) and Michael "Cornbread" Traylor on Bass. Kicked out of eden is a must if you love great songs delivered with passion and punch.
