Scottish producer of Graeme Clark aka The Revenge’s gift for crafting forward-thinking and inspiring dance floor cuts continues to be at the forefront of his musical attributes, although his work always pays fitting tribute to the past.

After fifteen years of curating and cultivating quality music, 2015 saw the release of The Revenge’s long-awaited debut album ‘Love That Will Not Die’ on his own imprint Roar Groove. From a heavy nod to the nascent days of electronic music, to the exploration of varying drum patterns and abundant percussion with a modern house music feeling, the LP provided the sound The Revenge is traditionally famed for whilst still displaying innovative, progressive style and composition. Hypnotic performances from disco icons Sister Sledge and longtime collaborator Jesse Rennix delivered the album’s standout vocal cuts. A great year was rounded off nicely when the album won 'Best Album' at the DJ Mag Awards
Of course, his precocious skillset doesn’t stop there. His long term collaboration with Craig Smith as 6th Borough Project produced two acclaimed albums for Delusions Of Grandeur and his continued partnership with Glasgow Sub Club’s resident DJ Harri delivered a recent EP for Clark’s own Roar Groove label. A bountiful career has seen him release on an abundance of others too including DFA, Pokerflat, Needwant, My Favorite Robot and his own former imprint the much admired Instruments Of Rapture, making him a sine qua non in any aficionado’s record collection.
Album Reviews
4/5 - Resident Advisor, 8.5/10 - DJ Mag, 6.7/10 - Pitchfork
He also boasts a strong reputation for deep, dark and twisted live sets. Whether at home, as a firm favourite at Glasgow’s iconic Sub Club, or further afield he provides charismatic live performances with a deft skill for manipulating his machines into a frenzy whilst giving the audience an energetic workout.
His back catalogue of successes and now his debut LP of up-tempo house and synth heavy disco fusion display the producer’s skill for cherry picking every key and sample he uses with the precision his listeners anticipate from him. With two new EP’s scheduled for Roar Groove in early 2016 and a new album as 6th Borough Project due in summer, this promises to be another spectacular year for The Revenge as he continues to pave the way for musical exploration and versatility.
