Eduard W. Bartholme, III is the Executive Director of Call For Action, Inc., an international, non-profit network of hotlines serving consumers and small businesses.

A graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Mr. Bartholme joined CFA in 2003 as the Director of Project Development and Information Systems. He guided CFA’s award winning Identity Theft brochure and oversaw its translation into Spanish. In July 2007, he was named Executive Director and in 2009 was elected CEO of the organization.

Since joining the organization, he has been involved in the expansion of CFA to twelve new locations. Mr. Bartholme has also worked to broaden CFA’s network of 27 media affiliate offices to now include radio, TV and print outlets.

Mr. Bartholme represents CFA on the FCC Consumer Advisory Committee, and various other consumer focused working groups and advisory panels.

Outside of Call For Action, Mr. Bartholme is active as a soccer referee and enjoys traveling with his wife.

Call For Action is an international, nonprofit network of consumer hotlines affiliated with broadcast media to help individuals and small businesses resolve consumer problems. Free and confidential mediation assistance is provided by 1,000 trained volunteer professionals. Help is also available through the CFA Website at www.callforaction.org. CFA produces a variety of consumer education materials in partnership with public and private sector sponsors and has been serving consumers for over 50 years. Nationally CFA reaches over 80 million consumers through its media network. CFA recovered over $13 million for consumers in 2015 alone.
