After two days exciting initial pitches and semifinal showdowns, we take time to honor the winning startups in each SXSW Accelerator category. Attendees will have a chance to meet the finalists, network with like-minded registrants, and enjoying delicious food and beverages.

Emceeing this year’s SXSW Accelerator Awards Ceremony is Andrew Hyde.

Andrew is a startup enthusiast, event organizer and stay at home bartender. He was the first employee of TechStars and Founded two global movements in Startup Weekend and Startup Week.

Doors will open at 7:00pm with a reception honoring our SXSW Accelerator Finalists. At 7:30pm two alternates from each SXSW Accelerator category will present a One Minute Speed Pitch.

The awards ceremony follows at 8:00pm, with honors presented to the winners in Innovative World Technologies, Enterprise and Smart Data Technologies, Payment and FinTech Technologies, Entertainment and Content Technologies, Health and Wearable Technologies, and Virtual Reality Technologies. Special awards for Best Bootstrap, Most Innovative, Best One Minute Speed Pitch will also be presented.
