Kevin Parker, professionally known as KP Tha Profit, made his solo debut in 2013 with his aptly titled, ‘Long Time Coming’. Hailing from the Northeast side of San Antonio and emerging from The Timeless productions collective, KP began his career by collaborating with artists such as Worldwide, Tony Stacks, and Lil Yodaa on a variety of projects. In an attempt to solidify his growing fan base, he released a six song EP the next year, titled ‘6ZIPS’ just one year later. In similar fashion, KP released ‘Since 1983’ the following year. The artist touts the latter release as his best work yet as he consistently displays lyrical and artistic growth on each outing.
Little is known about San Antonio from a musical standpoint. Like many south Texas scenes, the town is has been overshadowed by the Houston’s prominent musical footing. Rather than piggybacking off of established sounds or bending to the new era of rap, KP Tha Profit sticks to his individual, laid back style without wavering. This sound helped him gain attention from blogs such as Tha Fixx and Too Fresh productions throughout his budding career.

With his distinctive, mellow sound, the native San Antonian intends on making noise for not only for himself, but for his hometown as well.
