Being a public performer at such an early age took a toll and Nina found an outlet as she began writing new material that was all her own. After spending time arranging over a dozen new songs, she headed to Sonic Ranch Studios in West Texas to work with producer Manuel Calderon and was joined by musicians, David Garza and Patricio Davila. Nina launched her new solo project with a series of sold out concerts at The Belmont in Austin, Texas. Since then, Nina and her five-piece band have played at clubs throughout the southwest, California and New York as well as at The Tobin Center, Maverick Music Festival and the Fiesta de la Flor Festival. Her debut solo album will be released later this year.
