Imp Queen is a Chicago-based nightlife luminary, an up-and-coming popstar, and a trans fashion icon. With her producer Ariel Zetina, she makes dance-y house music with fractured, minimal vocals that explore the trans femme experience from an absurdist perspective. She creates fashion and performance work to accompany her music, and has appeared as an opener for legendary queer musicians including Big Freedia, Big Dipper, and Amanda Lepore. Her first single "Toyota" was released by Pedicure Records, and named by Bullett Magazine the #4 queer track of 2015. Her debut EP is due April 2016. Follow her on instagram @imp_kid
