Molybden (est. in 2012) is the project of songwriter and performer Tess Seipp. The West Texas native rooted herself in Austin following several years along the Pacific Northwest. Molybden creates guitar ballads alchemically through the transformative process and the invention of genres. Her songs of loss and power brood with dynamic vocals and haunting strings.

Molybden's debut album, Songs From Lincoln, was recorded with Brian LeBarton (of Feist and Beck). For the first Bedroom Recording, Molybden worked with Kyle Ellison (of The Meat Puppets). The second in that series was released digitally by Punctum Records on September 18th and features Molybden's collaboration with Will Patterson.

Prolific and driven, Molybden has released four recording projects in the past three years, playing and producing every instrument on every song to date. Molybden will record her second full length album, Long Lance, in January of 2016.
