Astronauts, etc. began as an electronic pop project in Ferraro's college bedroom during the summer of 2012. After releasing two solo EPs made on his laptop, he brought his friends in the studio to record 2015's Mind Out Wandering, the band's first full length record. Cut mostly live and entirely to tape, the album recalls an innocence that has earned it comparisons to early Bee Gees and Philly soul.
