James Supercave assumes the pop idiom, filling its dimensions (drums, synth, guitar, bass, vocals) while continually charting its fringes. The result: modern eccentricities thrown Pollock-like against psych pop–a sound that is cerebral in lyric and muscular in command of beat and groove. Think Bowie meets Blonde Redhead.
