Born and raised in Houston, TX, Young G started playing instruments as a child. His passion for music soon led him to decide to take music seriously as a career. Although young in the game, Young G is making a huge impression with fans, and fellow rappers alike. Young G opened up for BIG K.R.I.T at the House of Blues in October during his stop in Houston Tx for the Live From the Underground Tour. Young G was apart of the 2nd Season of Kickback Sundays, networked, won a few cyphers, and was apart of the “Raw Talent” concert put together by SF2 which sold out Warehouse Live with 10 underground artists. Young G released his debut mixtape “Houston’s Most Wanted” on Halloween of 2012, and since then has done numerous shows, flooding the streets of Houston and surrounding cities with hardcopies of the tape. Young G recently released his new project "I Do It G" in late January 2015 and promises to keep knocking down doors and taking names, all while building his growing fan base along the way.
