In the short time Missound has been performing as a musician and DJ she’s covered quite a bit of ground, collaborating with the likes of Chico Sonido, Don Alex, La Sabrosa Sabrosura and 3Ball Mty to name a few, DJing in festivals and parties and releasing the single “Estirando el Tempo”, with accompanying video. In a live setting she has also performed with Sonidero Nacional and Jesus Warr as a keyboard player and percussionist.
In 2014 Missound released her first official single and video titled “Estirando el Tempo”, produced by Gus Montalvo AKA Gush Doctor. The track’s style is inspired by jamaican dancehall music with a latin twist.
Currently she’s adding the finishing touches to her next release titled “No estoy aquí”, which video she’s currently shooting and is planned to drop in may of 2015. The video is being directed by Missound and was shot in Southern Arizona, in a luxurious mansion and promises to be visually stunning.
The rest of 2015 Missound will be quite busy recording new tracks, performing and DJ-ing in Northern Mexico and Mexico City.
