Modern Chemistry formed in and around Rutgers University in June of 2012. After putting out a few songs, the foursome recorded a full EP, We'll Grow Out Of This, and started playing shows around their hometowns in NJ. A staple headliner at New Brunswick’s Court Tavern, their textured heavier alt-rock sound and frenetic live shows eventually led to high profile East Coast opening slots with acts like NGHBRS, Waaves, Echosmith, The Swellers, frnkiero andthe cellabration and Taking Back Sunday.

2015 kicks off with their first full tour running from February 18 through April 2 supporting frnkiero andthe cellabration through the US and Eastern Canada. This journey has been amazing every step of the way and we couldn't be more excited to take a step out of the basements, hit the road and see the rest of the country.”
