Recently, Randy, Chuck & Bob, performing as the World’s Greatest Residents’ Cover Band, celebrated the group’s 40th anniversary with a trilogy of tours: The Talking Light (2011), Wonder of Weird (2013) and Shadowland (2015). No longer content to merely impersonate a band, The Residents unexpectedly morphed into a power trio, gleefully plundering their vast catalog of music to the delight to their fans. At SXSW 2015 The Residents will be performing Shadowland, featuring short videos about birth, rebirth, reincarnation and NDEs (near death experiences), part 3 of the Randy, Chuck & Bob Trilogy.
