genuine, Mexified, San Antonio rock ‘n’ roll stars.
The Krayolas were inducted last year into the Texas Music Office's South Texas Music Walk of Fame, achieving cult status with songs about the drug wars, border politics, the 99 percent, world peace, San Antonio life and hits like "Catherine," "Alex," "La Conquistadora," "Little Fox," "Fruteria," "Corrido Twelve Heads in a Bag" and powerpop remakes of the Ramones and Bob Dylan.
The band’s upbeat, no-borders range has garnered flattering comparisons to the Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Who, Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe and Warren Zevon.
