Hector Bizerk have a knack of finding a balance between densely literate, social comment and thunderous festival anthem. The Glaswegian experimental hip-hop band have an insatiable desire to explore the creative possibilities in their intrinsic drum and rap combo have drawn comparisons to The Roots and Public Enemy.
The band played over 100 shows in the UK and Ireland and self-released their critically acclaimed album Nobody Seen Nothing in 2014 after winning the Scottish Alternative Music Award, making their US debut in New York and headlining slots at Wickerman Festival. Drummer/producer Audrey Tait was confirmed as one of the top ten female drummers in the world as a finalist in Hit Like A Girl competition. Second album Nobody Seen Nothing was nominated for Scottish Album of the Year and the band have recently toured alongside Public Enemy and The Libertines.
