Sarah and Richard of Paper Aeroplanes grew up thirty miles from each other along the coast of West Wales, in houses you could see the sea from. They spent their formative years walking on cold beaches and misty mountains and finding records in charity shops - a two hour drive, away from the nearest music scene.
Last year Paper Aeroplanes took their stunning concoction of Dream-Pop to over one hundred venues, selling out London's iconic Union Chapel as well as many other venues across the UK and Germany. Their 2013 album Little Letters, an album of evocative, honest and personal songs, reached number 26 in the UK independent chart to a barrage of acclaim from critics and fans alike.

In April 2015 Paper Aeroplanes will embark on a thirty date tour of Europe to promote their forthcoming album J O Y. Produced by Mason Neely, the album is more electronic than their previous releases with emotionally charged lyrics about learning to be happy. First single from the album Guessing Game has been described as "an enchanting arrangement, as the riff sparkles over the padding beat. Vocally, it stirs up an emotional charge, adding an unexpected power to the stunning melody."
