Baptiste W. Hamon is a French singer-songwriter from Paris, France. Singing in French, his writing and music are largely inspired by folksingers like Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, Leonard Cohen, John Prine and Butch Hancock. French magazine Popnews sees him as « the most promising songwriter » of his home country, along with his partner Alma Forrer. « Their duet song Peut-être que nous serions heureux is certainly one of the most beautiful song of the last decade in France », writes Popnews. Baptiste W. Hamon will record his debut album in Nashville in April 2015 with producer Mark Nevers (Caitlin Rose, Vic Chestnutt, Bonnie Prince Billy, The Silver Jews).
