Coffeehouse is: Francisco Martinez (Vocals), Sebastian Fontecilla (Guitar and keyboards), Oscar Lama (Guitars and Vocals) and Cristobal Vives (Drums and Percussion). It all started when Sebastian met Francisco through a friend. Together, they began an acoustic project that started to shape up and then forced them to seek more members to consolidate an official band. Oscar joined the project in July 2011, but it wasn´t until Cristobal joined in October of that same year, that the band was officially formed.
During 2013 the band achieved their major goals on their career so far, such as a national tour (sponsored by Cristal, one of the biggest beer brands in the Country), three shows in Miami, FL and being the local support act for Blur’s first time in Chile, performing in front of more than 7.000 people. They shot their first music video, which got more than 10.000 views in a matter of a week and their hit single “On This Side” has air played every day since.
In 2014, being air played by more than 5 major radio stations in Chile consolidates their media presence. The acoustic version of On This Side became a part of the soundtrack of a popular local TV Series. Coffeehouse played at the International Festival of Social Innovation and has been confirmed to play at Lollapalooza Chile 2015.
