When thinking of France, socialism in various forms is a thought that sometimes comes to mind. But far from political or economic ideologies, a massive social enterprise called Groupe SOS is quietly humming away with 12,000 employees spread across 350 companies in more than 30 countries and tangibly impacting the lives of a million people every year.
Focused on five key areas – youth, employment, housing, health and elderly people – Groupe SOS also leverages the latest technologies through social tech innovation accelerators and an investment fund.
