We follow a day in the life of a fashion fan in 2020 – from morning beauty routine to lunchtime shop, to afternoon catwalk show to choosing an outfit for a night out – and discover just how different these experiences will be in a post-digital world of seamless technology.

What does the future hold for fashion? How will it look and feel in a post-digital world? Join us on an exploratory design journey, where high-tech meets high-touch, and digital technologies are humanised, vibrant and even biological. Expect to see brainwave-responsive and laughter-sensing accessories, garments that feel, and electronic tattoos (animated skin art) that redefine the very idea of adorning the body. Our futures expert will describe and debate how emerging technologies will disrupt the future of fashion.
