Immersing an audience in a story goes beyond the page, projector, or controller—it’s the ability to surround people in fiction, the blending of reality and fiction with each medium building upon the other. ENDGAME is the groundbreaking interactive project led by best-selling author James Frey of the trilogy of ENDGAME novels from HarperCollins. James will be accompanied by John Hanke, VP of Google’s Niantic Labs, developers of the real-world adventure game Ingress, as well as the ENDGAME mobile adventure game. The two creative minds will discuss the way they are collaborating to create a unified, immersive world that moves seamlessly from books to games to movies, with an accompanying real-world, multimillion-dollar treasure hunt to bring people in even closer. They will talk about the way they are merging story with social activation and interactive real-world experiences in new and exciting ways, using technology to build an incredible digital experience on top of the real world.
