The National Science Foundation I-Corps program is focused on advancing the commercial outcomes of fundamental scientific research through applied entrepreneurship training consistent with Steve Blanks Business Model Canvas methodology. The University of Texas at Austin (in conjunction with Texas A&M and Rice University) was recently announced as one of 7 National Nodes in the National NSF I-Corps Node Network and will be working to promote the I-Corps methodology broadly throughout the SW region of the United States across institutions. Participants will learn about the I-Corps program and how it can impact and support entrepreneurial activity for their concept or venture. Target audiences which could benefit from the I-Corps program include: University affiliated Start Ups, Research faculty from across the region, venture capital groups and many others.
