Jan is an entrepreneur, start-up advisor, and recognized leader in social technologies, having helped to pioneer customer service in social channels. She is currently a Partner at Capital Factory, an Austin-based seed stage accelerator and Founder of Women@Austin, a mission-driven community to accelerate the success of female entrepreneurship in Austin through mentoring, increased visibility, and a focus on networks crucial for funding. Her latest company, Social Dynamx, attracted $3m in seed funding and early wins with several named-brand customers, and was acquired by industry leader Lithium Technologies in the Fall of 2012.
She came to Austin in 1996 to be the first VP of Sales for Vignette and was part of its IPO in 1999. Jan also spent time in Silicon Valley in the early part of her career as CEO of Sigma Dynamics, raising total of $8 million in venture capital and attracting a sale to Oracle in 2006.Hide the rest

Virginia is focused on Spredfast customer success at every stage of the partnership journey. She leads the team dedicated to the customer experience including account management, strategic services, training, and enablement. Prior to Spredfast, Virginia was EVP of Digital Strategy at Ogilvy PR Worldwide where she led the North American arm of their social media and word of mouth marketing (WOMM) practice (now Social@Ogilvy). She has over a decade of experience in providing social media and marketing strategy to leading enterprise brands. She has held positions in corporate strategy, consumer marketing and WOMM at Dell, Inc., Brains on Fire, and Trilogy Software. Virginia is a TechStars mentor and is on the Steering Committee for Women@Austin. She holds a B.A. in English from Princeton University.Hide the rest
