From raising money to the distribution of a completed film, the independent film waters can be challenging to navigate. In this workshop we’ll discuss ways to make the journey a bit smoother: How do I raise money? How do I reach film financiers? What gets a film financed?
We’ll also look at ways to distribute a finished film so that it reaches the widest audience and (hopefully) recoups for the filmmaker and the financiers. Topics will include theatrical release, VOD/emerging platforms, and the various film festivals.
