Himanshu Suri aka Heems is a rapper from Queens, New York. Best known for being part of the alternative hip hop group Das Racist, Suri is also the founder of Greedhead Music, an independent record label. Besides his success with Das Racist which earned him the cover of SPIN magazine and appearances on almost every major festival in the world, Heems is equally accomplished as an A&R exec with his self run Greedhead Music which released Das Racist’s first mixtapes in 2010 and releases from the label’s acts like Le1f, Antwon, and Lakutis. He releases his first official solo album March 10, 2015, Eat Pray Thug.
