What started as a circuit of parties every first Friday of every month, developed as one of the most important Dj collectives in the country. In 2009 EL Freaky - known as Freaky Friday back then - was consolidated as a space for the exploration of sounds associated with the culture of Sound System, Afroroots and the different Colombian Folk sounds.
The experience offered by Freaky Friday did not limit itself to sound experimentation, as it also offered a strong visual component. This is what led Andres Shaq, Kmmy Ranks, Mike Style and Fat Sugar Daddy to form El Freaky Colectivo and take their audiovisual proposal worldwide.
Today, El Freaky constructs strong audiovisual experiences in a stunning live show that covers a wide range of party music latitudes from around the world. In 2013 El Freaky released their first album ʻSabrosoʼ, which was distributed by Shock Magazine - the most influential music magazine in the country -. The album included the collaboration of Producer Benny B and featuringʼs from artists such as Alfredo Gutierrez, Hety and Zambo, Tanto Metro, Devonte, Empire Isis and Charles King.
